Hi I’m Sam Funnell, Property Marketing Expert and Branch Partner at Fine & Country.

I have been working in estate agency since 1996, specialising in the upper quartile of the market in towns and villages around Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire and joined Fine & Country in 2011, where I was invited to lead a team of agents and guide them in a new level of marketing skills and service. We quickly became the market leader in the sales of homes in excess of £500,000 and to date are the number one agent in the midlands for property sales in this price range. We have been very successful in the use of print media and high end lifestyle publications, before launching Fine & Country onto all the key social media channels, one of the first agents in region to utilise this important marketing resource for my clients homes. As a result some of our innovative property videos are being seen by as many as 30,000 potential buyers, that have been targeted according to a buyer demographic, increasing the viewing levels and ensuring the best price for my sellers.

I live locally in Rugby, with my partner Claire who also works as a Partner at Fine & Country and our young family. Being a local property expert helps hugely in providing accurate information on the towns and villages that I cover. I honestly can’t fault the service and professionalism provided by Sam Funnell and Claire Heritage of Fine and Country Rugby. From the initial first meeting and market appraisal, I felt that Sam was approachable and incredibly knowledgeable on the local property market. The marketing materials and videos were of exceptional quality and showed our home off to its full potential. All viewings were accompanied and full feedback and follow up provided in a timely manner. Sam and Claire’s advice has been spot on throughout the selling process, and when we ran into difficulties with the sale Sam was always available to reassure and crucially chase up the other parties, when I often was not able to get hold of my solicitor, or anyone else involved.
It was an emotional experience to sell our family home, but Sam and Claire have been very supportive and understanding, and eased the process massively. On a personal level, I felt that Sam and Claire, really cared about us and our family situation. They are friendly and I’m very grateful to have met them.
