Northaw
Northaw is a small village between Potters Bar and Cuffley and has remained relatively unchanged for many years. There is a variety of houses, from small cottages to country estates surrounded by serene countryside with a C of E Primary School, St. Thomas A Becket Church and restaurant.
Essendon
Essendon is a small village between Brookmans Park, Hertford and Hatfield with a variety of character properties and private estates. It is also home to Essendon Country Club with two golf courses, a golf academy, restaurant and function facilities. There is a C of E Primary School in the village, too.
Potters Bar
Potters Bar is a town in Hertfordshire, 13 miles (21 km) north of central London. In 2011, it had a population of 21,882. There are two main streets in Potters Bar – Darkes Lane and the High Street, both offering an amazing number of shops, restaurants and amenities. The town has always been favoured by commuters working in London as Darkes Lane is home to Potters Bar train station which offers frequent trains to London Kings Cross in 16 minutes and also Finsbury Park and Moorgate....
Cuffley
Cuffley is very much in the London commuter belt and it’s fair to say the railway had a dramatic impact on the village when it opened in 1910. The service offers access into London Moorgate and there are evening and weekend services to Kings Cross. Cuffley Primary School has occupied its present building since 1938 when it replaced the original Victorian schoolroom.
