History
Boston Spa is rich in English History. The village which we know as Boston Spa was established in 1974 and was originally called Thorp Spa because of the easy access of natural resources, desired for spa resorts. However, over time, the increase in popularity for Harrogate Spa town meant that Thorpe Spa lost its title and became Boston Spa. Beautifully located on the South bank of the River Wharfe, Boston Spa still charms its residents with its wonderful ambience and vibrant community.
