What the owner says: I moved here nearly six years ago and it has been a wonderful home. I love living in a country environment, with the golf course on the doorstep and excellent walks in the surrounding countryside, and some excellent pubs in many of the local villages while The Cinnamon Square restaurant is close at hand. It is a lovely walk to both Giacomo and The Windmill in the Weald, The Greyhound in Charcott as well as The Plough at Leigh and The White Rock at Underriver. Yet it is not far from Hildenborough with a station, two good local primary schools, post office and shop, chemist and the Sackville independent secondary school as well as a village hall that offers activities as varied as fencing, short mat bowls and bridge, to exercise and gardening classes.
While for sporting enthusiasts, in addition to the prestigious Nizels Golf and Country Club, there are the Hildenborough cricket and tennis clubs, Hildenborough Athletic football club as well as the Hilden golf centre and gym plus an excellent equestrian centre.
