The area local to our Fine & Country office covers South Norfolk and North Suffolk. At the heart of this area is the Waveney Valley where the River Waveney meanders through the countryside with, for the most part, Norfolk to one side of the river and Suffolk to the other.

There are several market towns in the area including Diss which has a mainline rail link to London Liverpool Street Station as well as a variety of amenities. Then there is Harleston, a bustling market town with an eclectic array of independent shops and a lovely friendly feel.

Some of the most sought-after surrounding villages in the area include Pulham Market, a picture-postcard location with some properties grouped around the village green, this village has a great community feel as well as a shop, primary school, two pubs, and a doctor's surgery. This combined with good access to the A140 makes this one of the more popular villages.

Whilst Pulham Market lies in Norfolk, across the border, and to the south is the village of Fressingfield, again a well-served country village with its own Drs Surgery, shop and post office, primary school, and two welcoming hostelries, the countryside is a little hillier here and very pretty with great walks nearby. Moving further south you will find the village of Hoxne with its amazing village hall and pub, a primary school, and a shop and post office. These are just some of the gems to be found in our area.

In Norfolk and Suffolk, we are a little off the beaten track and that is one of the great charms of the area. The ‘Big Skies’ of Norfolk and Suffolk await you here where in places the pace is a little slower and the countryside wraps around you.

Give us a call here at Fine & Country to discuss what you are searching for in your next home and with an area as diverse as ours we will find a town or village to suit or perhaps that hideaway with no near neighbours you have always dreamed of.
